So in this example, since I’m using the default PDS (bsky.social), it sends me to that login page?

Crypto is a tool. The barrier to entry to FC is not the ideology, it's the usage of crypto tools (which tbf are still clunky)
I think all people will become "crypto people" over time, so it has the great potential to contain multitudes -- more so than being a liberal bastion

And being blasted with politics + emotion combined makes it less desirable to look deeper (hence the "cultish" description)
