(Of course LLMs are often wrong, but for some kinds of info the stakes aren't too high.) Can have more complex, multi-part Qs, too.

Yes, Google search has gotten so bad that now you're at least as likely to get a good answer to Q's like "How do I fix so-and-so" by asking ChatGPT as you are by querying Google.

I am very critical of gen AI, but a ton of non-engineers are using it. For creative ideas, for recipes, for health info, for help with writing, general household troubleshooting, etc. It's not just coders.

It seems obvious to me that tourism in America should be tanking because of all this <waves hands>, but then it's surprising that the economy hasn't cratered by now in terms of GDP (even if foreign tourism is ~3% of GDP?) and all those jobs in tourism industries.

I would love it if some reporter would ask Trump if he knew what IQ stands for. If he does, follow up by asking him to spell the second word.

It's been reported that one of the few joys in Trump's life was sleeping with the wives of his "friends." Since he can no longer do that, he now gets whatever "joy" he's capable of experiencing from screwing over countries that were America's friend.
