Attempting to maintain my sanity in the midst of an impending civil war by teaching my kitten some tricks 🖤

This little guy waltzed into my future mother-in-law’s house ~two months ago and made himself right at home. Finnegan has been such a bright light in our lives, and I love him desperately.

After a long day, the little one is home

The vet hospital was unable to view the obstruction on ultrasound, which could mean he’s already passed it, he’ll pass it soon, or he never ate it in the first place…

Considering how sick/lethargic he got, I’m thinking it’s either the first or second option

I’m sitting in the lobby of the emergency vet.

Finnegan managed to eat some plastic yesterday. He was just fine before bed, but threw up a few times overnight and was lethargic today.

I’m devastated. Finn is my first pet. We rescued him off the street ~3 weeks ago and I feel like I’ve failed him…

Learned an important lesson today:

Don’t hold your kitten when your partner turns on the vacuum!
