I def get the joke. Just incredible that people say these ignorant and/or straight up knowlingly false statements like these. It's like, anybody can go read the Gospels and immediately know this statement is the opposite of how Jesus lived and was ultimately executed by the Roman Empire

The maga administration, headed by Trump, is full of people who are rich and famous and powerful but have never worked a day in their lives (and if they did a day of work at some point when they were younger they swore they would never do that again)

Yeah that makes sense. Also that stupid evangelical cliche that all sins are equal in the eyes of God (ridiculous). So breaking the sabbath to heal someone and murder would be equally sinful. (Then the logic breaks down even more because that woman would be insinuating that Jesus sinned)

You do have to wonder how a person could come to this level of lack of understanding of basic Scripture, current events, American history, logic, and ethics. It's despairing on all those levels

The right wing always with their Nietzschean attempts at creating the Ubermensch. At least Nietzsche was anti-racist. These fools sure have a misunderstanding of survival of the fittest - they forget that for nature to work we thrive on collaboration, not competition
