There is no mass motivation amongst politicians to go after those they see as closest to them in social standing. It sets a precedent for future retaliation and the Right will always out bastard the Left in those circumstances. Not to mention it'll annoy their actual paymasters.

One of the central tenets of the Right is to move money from the poor to the wealthy, enforced private health care is probably the peak example of this.

His wife was the editor, there are many reports that she saved that film. That's why she has the Oscar and he doesn't. It's also why it's my belief that he constantly tries to edit the films into something as good as his ex-wife produced, it's an annoyance to him that that happened.
