Which is odd for unionist parties.

I’m quite enjoying the 180 turn on a six pence from “you’ve wrecked the economy and created a black hole” to “there was no black hole and this is even worse”.

Sorry, Guinness!

I like Guiness Zero very much, but it's certainly distinguishable from normal Guiness, which I don't like!

Moretti and Asahi make good alcohol-free beer.

What about leaders in Northern Ireland? Or is Your Party going to kick it out of the United Kingdom?

Will they send a limousine anyway?

...and now I've looked it up, and of course the pizza was named after a real person. Dough!

I considered spelling it like that, but I don't think I've ever heard of a real person called Margherita.

Easy mistake to make if your bride's called Margarita.

"Two of our cases involved nothing more serious than grievous bodily harm"

Jeezuz!

Because she's a woman. Because she's the best woman in the world. Because women will have no elite sport if male people are allowed into it.
November 27, 2025 at 6:51 PM
The "trans woman" is not actually a woman; not female, so not eligible for women's sports. Just as a 25-year-old athlete who says "I'm 15" isn't eligible for under-16 sports, however strongly he feels that he has an innate sense of being 15.

Because being the best female athlete in your country, or in the world, is a notable achievement - much more notable than being the 10,000th best male (or the 10,000th best human).

Lots of people want to watch the men's 100 metres final at the Olympics. Lots of people want to watch the women's 100 metres final at the Olympics. No one wants to watch the final between the 20,000th to 20,008th fastest sprinters in the world.
