Veterinary Neurologist to pay the bills
If you ask an athlete what the hardest thing is to do in sports, they'll say hit a baseball, but a coach told me that the hardest thing to do in sports is to walk into your Superbowl locker room at half time and change the strategy that got you there 'cause it's no longer working.” The West Wing

I would love to have his level of confidence to be able to look at the current polling and say - you know what I could win this thing.

I really do not understand his motivation here. Going from actually having real power to direct the government’s agenda to maybe a few extra seats and total irrelevance for 4 years (at least).

Have been thinking about this scene a bit today. Here is to hoping the PM is a Lion in Winter Fan or at least the West Wing. When the falls all that’s left…

We can add concern for the welfare of wildlife to the list of things Premier Ford does not care about

Very poor writing. The “first nativity scene” is an odd way to put it. It was an event not the ceramic thing you put on the mantle in December. Also the obvious racism.

That Trump’s victory was not a landslide because the Electoral College is a flawed system

Would love to think that Canada is immune to Christian Nationalism due to cultural differences from the US but that is not accurate. Not the same situation as in the US now but certainly seems to have the potential to go that way.

It is an interesting time that we practice in. Looking at the direction human med is going AI will soon be a big part of #vetmed. I have played a bit with an AI summarizing tool. Still some work to do but does have potential and similar programs will likely be in general use not to far from now.

A fun first episode. I do not know a lot about this area of history so looking forward to parts 2 and 3.

It was never about that with Ford. He wanted it moved and that was it. Wasting Ontario’s money has never bothered him.

I would also assume most serious investors would be put off by a proposed 25% tariff on Canadian oil to the US.

It has to be done regardless of how most of Canada feels about Trump

Ford moving the Science Centre to a shopping mall just seems so on brand. I am guessing though he does not know that the company that owns the mall is owned by the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan.

Irony was unfortunately an early casualty of social media.

Thank you for organizing this. I am a small animal neurologist, happy to be added.

Ford is always in it for his friends. Too bad he has no friends in the education or health care sectors. Ontario would be much better off

As a profession that consistently rates in the top 1-3 spots of suicide, we need to accept ZERO excuses for verbal or other abuse from clients and the public. If you want care, you can seek it respectfully. You know who's owners were delightful throughout the whole visit? The ones who lost their dog
