I suspect that some terrible ideas masquerade as solutions to problems, and many can be fixed up later. Others become load-bearing and sources of more problems than they ever solved.

I wonder how a skilled writer's room knows which is which.

Like "why does entity class X behave differently from Y when they have the exact same definition function?!"... oh it's because some external functions do hard reference checks against the classnames 😆

Then someone--who I vaguely recognize as a fellow regular but don't know--leaned over to me and said "Hey what are you guys working on now? I saw the new DLC came out". Which probably means I need a new pub.

That is to say, my bad-idea budget, which is its own category, is used up. Not that my normal budget is used up on bad ideas.
