R.I.P. Demond Wilson. Many knew him as an actor on the hilarious tv show, Sanford and Son. I met him once after his role on the tv show, when he became an ordained minister. A thoughtful and generous man, who helped open the door for many black actors. www.the-sun.com/entertainmen...

A brilliant actor, poet and musician! The tragic accidental death of Malcolm-Jamal Warner has left me in shock. ‘Mal’ and I only met a few years ago, but we had a wonderful collaboration. For the program w/the Minnesota Orchestra he was commissioned to write a poem about Juneteenth. Powerful! R.I.P.
