Yeah, I don't know why it disappeared. They used to advertise it. I'm afraid it's going to be discontinued – but as of now it still looks maintained.

I like using AI embedded in my IDE, it's an advanced form of autocompletion/refactor tool.

I think the Laravel team is trying to make it easy for AI models to pick up how they should behave when they write Laravel code.

But I don't think it's a good idea to "vibe code" a full app from scratch.

Laravel Spark is an official (paid) package based on Cashier+Paddle. You can use it as it is, as a complete billing portal, or study its source code to see how the Laravel team implemented it!

Xcode when I open it.

100% agree. I almost feel "proud" for being a customer when I log into an account and I see that my current subscription has "Legacy" in its name.

I agree! I miss following him on that other platform which can't be named.

I think the restriction comes from the fact that CNAME can be the only record for a domain. Since the 2nd level domain also has other records (SOA, NS...), you can't use CNAME there.
June 26, 2025 at 8:21 AM
Actually, there are differences. You can't set a CNAME record for your naked domain, but you can for "www". There are also security differences, such as that you can't restrict cookies for the naked domain, but you can do it for subdomains.

I think the real problem is using so many trackers that you need a consent banner.

Focus on your main product, ignore all secondary (and ultimately time-wasting) work.

Call me old-fashioned, but I use the currently maintained fork of Homestead.

I miss old-school GNOME. I've stopped using it after version 3 came out, I can't stand it now.

That's great! (I listed all those places because Europa-Park is conveniently in the middle)
March 2, 2025 at 10:39 PM
If you ever go to Alsace, Switzerland or the south of Germany you should definitely visit Europa-Park!

My bad, you're right. They weren't working, even if they were on in my settings! But now I've reinstalled the app and they do work!

Strange bug. Maybe it lost somr kind of sync with Firebase.

Having breakfast while reading the PDF version on my tablet. Yes, it works! :)
March 1, 2025 at 9:29 AM
Yes, but I like using my tablet in landscape, so the side-by-side view should work great :)

I hadn't seen the PDF version; it looks neat! I'll try reading that on my tablet.

Okay, thanks for the insight! The whole current situation with US politics is horrible from my European point of view, so that doesn't surprise me.
