It is utterly shambolic. It’s not even that there is something not clicking. It’s increasingly apparent that there is nothing to click, there are no ideas, no coherent strategy.

The scaffolding in Hong Kong always gives me a jump-scare when I’m over there. Just insane.

It does seem overwrought.
I think we’re fine as a society to leave it at teaching kids they have autonomy and can decline physical contact/affection if they don’t want it.
It doesn’t need to be more complicated than that.
