I wish I didn’t have to do this but some scammers/users are extremely clever.

Needless to say
1) I didn’t do it
2) this person who played these tricks on me is hardblocked everywhere
3) This was a first. NEVER tolerating that again.

So in a way, I was on a never ending mission, just like anti scam and debunking sites actually are. But they receive money in some way, I did it for free lol. I find that Instagram is better at it, that’s my most used meta app. FB I barely use, only for 2 fandom groups at this point.

Yes! That’s so true. I actually used to run an anti-scam page in my oldest/first/longest lasting fandom before I left, it got very popular with more than 1000 likes, but once I left for real I just couldn’t stand to run it anymore. But still. So. Many. Scams. So many, it’s maddening.

Still confused why DK copied Sweden’s stance then backtracked but I suppose there’s still time for things to change… when was the Nordic meeting again? 🤔

This is a good example on how this situation is having real-life consequences already.
I have a feeling it might become a little bit tough keeping track of all the details if we don’t work together across platforms to reach common understanding.
