By omitting such important information, the AWSM, through ignorance or malice, plays into Russian narratives surrounding Ukraine. They also do a disservice to our anarchist comrades who have died fighting on the frontlines against Russian imperialism, and the ones still doing so. (8/8)

3. Misrepresentation of reality. The writers claim Ukrainian "refusal to engage in meaningful dialogue" and criticises the "imposition of military solutions over political negotiations". This is perhaps not just a misrepresentation but a falsification of history. (3/8)

2. Portrayal of Ukraine as the aggressor. The writers fail to mention that the separatists, who were not just "supported and exploited" by Russia, but in actuality led by Russians, initiated armed confrontation by taking over government buildings anywhere in their text. (2/8)
