I did not care about any of the characters except Esquie lol The gameplay was so repetitive for me. It was literally: 1 walking around and 2 doing pokemon style fights. Hardly an RPG when there are no player choices in the game that effect the story (except one at the every end of the game 🙄)

THANK YOU! Me and my friend have been ranting about this for months. I've played both and genuinely do not understand the hype for E33. Even if I only played E33 and never even perceived of KCD2, I would still think it's meh. The story was an interesting concept but everything was so surface level
