SAT 33 and SAT 34 Galileo satellites are now experiencing what space feels like for the first time, as Ariane 6's fairing was released.

The upper and core stages of the rocket remain connected to the satellites as the rocket keeps moving forward.

The two P120C boosters of Ariane 6 just separated from the rocket.

Now, nearing the drop-off point, the Ariane 6 upper stage will fire its Vinci engine for the second and final time on this mission – a shorter boost lasting just under two minutes.

And it's bye bye Galileo ✌️

With a gentle push, Ariane 6 released the Galileo satellites to orbit, where they will provide 24/7 navigation to billions of users.
