Likewise, my daughter's friend had to leave the country for bureaucratic reasons during a standard visa renewal. I was terrified she wouldn't be back.

It's not just social media. Looks like visitors to the US from Europe and other countries that are part of the visa waiver program will have to submit an enormous amount of data about themselves and their families, including DNA, if proposed new rules are accepted

2/2 sheltered life, empty restaurants and stores at off-hours. But COVID came and as you said, is still here. The pandemic continues and it still affects the at risk population. I am quarantined away from my husband in a home we inherited, forever. I appreciate you bringing attention to this issue.
