(2/2) The 3rd period of that game had 291 PIMs, which ranks 5th all-time in NHL history. Side note: The Flames got 202 PIMs in that game; at the time, it set a new NHL record for a team in a single game. (That record has since been surpassed by the Flyers in 2004, with 213.)
