West coast is an "earlier" culture in general...not sure if TV / programming is a cause or result of that. Restaurants close at 9pm. I start work at 7am, sometimes 6am to collaborate easier with Eastern colleagues. If you have dinner at 7pm, that's almost crazy-time out here. But yeah, I love it.
