“do good things. don’t do bad things”

truly profound.

the reason why Capital was presented in a dialectical fashion rather than as an empirical survey of capitalism was to equip future communists the method to criticize the false socialisms people will push forward.

if your goal is reformism, if you are an agent of the bourgeoisie, such a statement is fine, but it’s not so for communists. marx spends most of his energies fighting various socialists of this type, from proudhon to lassalle.

because it’s a loaded statement. marx literally attacks this in the CotGP.
December 5, 2025 at 3:25 AM
you clearly stated “labor is entitled to what it creates”
December 5, 2025 at 2:59 AM
it’s not about paying workers their fair amount, but on seeing how resources are currently allocated, so that we know where productivity needs to increase. labor being compensated well is a consequence of this, not a principle society must follow.
December 5, 2025 at 2:58 AM
tbf, paying workers with vouchers based on labor-time is superficially the same as paying workers with money, but it’s only superficially the same. explicit labor-time accounting is how a future communist society knows where to allocate resources to further decrease work.

we aren’t social democrats. we don’t seek to reform capitalism out of a sense that it has cheated workers. we see capitalism as leading to its own abolition, with the proletariat as the only class with the interest in making itself superfluous, and thus the entirety of the mode of production.
December 5, 2025 at 2:50 AM
this is what marx sketched out what a future communist society would use as a measure of wealth.
December 5, 2025 at 2:44 AM
scientific socialists should not care for justice for labor. such a schema in fact is capitalist in nature. instead, socialists understand the transition to communism as the gradual elimination of work, the zero hour work week.
December 5, 2025 at 2:41 AM
the basic communist principle is “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need”. this is far from the statement “labor is entitled to what it creates”.

communism is the end of wage labor, the abolition of the working class.

this isn’t price fixing, this is just regular pricing. absent a platform like realpage, landlords will still discover their way to to the same rents, but this convergence would take much longer.

moralistic nonsense.

he says here that money is the general form of value, but i understand reading is too difficult for you.

proudhonism really ended up surviving

true. the more people that follow your ideology, the better. the 90 million members of the CPC are the most well read communists

capital vol 1. around 1000 pages. it’s a dense read, should take around a month or two.
December 2, 2025 at 3:27 AM
can’t make a joke these days 🥀
December 2, 2025 at 3:27 AM
i’m well aware. i’m just curious on how certain marxists fail to grasp how capitalism actually functions. but the value form is certainly hard to understand.
