not to say like, i didn’t think environmentalism was generally good before seeing it. but the film really drove home for me “oh, we are unambiguously the most powerful species on the planet, with an unimaginable power to reshape the world. that’s a pretty big deal.”

way too many people in my own age group who genuinely seem to think that their kid is like. inherently shitty and needs to be bullied or scared out of it.

i do think people are being a little unfair to the article? it’s not positioning grok’s statement as TRUE, it’s just treating it as xAI’s response to the situation. given the unwillingness to formally comment from xAI, that seems kind of fair to me. The company chose to let the bot do the talking.

okay so i don’t TOTALLY know how it works, but my understanding is that it’s something to do with the way the system knows how to change the battery indicator to red? like it sends out a signal that is detected by the processor that games can also pick up on.

i like them, but honestly it kind of sounds like the reason i like them is the exact reason you dislike them. (they look like little toys to me)
