Thinking on this again because my intentions are to finally script a graphic novel I’ve had in my brain for 4 years. But, I’ve been flip flopping over whether to challenge myself to write the comic script or just write the story in full like a novel and break down from there
Curious to know if NaNoWriMo exists in some shape or form this November? I know the website shut down but I’d still like to do some form of informal version to kickstart some projects

Been triple-jobbing for the last while and the stress that’s putting on my brain is not good unsurprisingly but one of the festivals I work for (KIFF) is finally on this week (!!) finally (!!)

Btw these guys are in a little band and they like to practice in the rain because the acoustics are much, much better!! They swear by it!!

Having 70% of my income decided by various arts co decisions is some laugh honestly I’m squinting at that budget allocation with 50 million prayers and I’m not stressed at all. Honestly.

Hate encountering things outside my little bubble. Like the subsection of people that are really against the basic income for the arts. Like I know there’s lots else to fund but it’s all different pots lads. Apples and oranges!

Sort of crazy to live in a country that most people are actively trying to emigrate from at all times yet in international artist spaces, people are wishing they could live here for the basic income, surreal.
It’s lovely to see but also lads, don’t fall for it. It won’t cover your rent!

I’ve been running Dog Man workshops recently and I love making the kids extremely confused by explaining that Captain Underpants came out when I was a kid.
I think in their heads, the presumption has been that Dav Pilkey is super young for some reason so it’s funny to watch their heads explode
