Capitalism keeps pretending scarcity is natural, like food and water magically run out when poor people reach for them.

But the truth is simple: we don’t lack resources, we lack fairness. A system built on hoarding will always call dignity unrealistic.

Everyone deserves the basics. No exceptions.

They judge us women for our looks, then judge us again for caring about them.

It’s not logic, it’s a self-serving double-bind meant to keep women feeling small.

It’s their insecurity showing, not our flaw.

If giving people food, housing, education, and time with their families is “socialism,” then maybe the problem isn’t socialism 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s the people who think basic dignity is dangerous.

Society should help people live, not make them suffer.

One of my fave politicians, Tommy Douglas didn’t dream of Canada as a jewel because of wealth but because of courage.

A country judged by how it treats the sick, the poor, the vulnerable.

We have to fight for the Canada he imagined, not the one billionaires demand. Rise together.

Speaking at tonights Louis Riel celebration was one of the honours of my life.

In this political climate, it matters more than ever that we show up, speak up, & live our Métis and indigenous culture out loud, unapologetically.
