Trying to be an optimist here. If the House has to reconvene to discuss a deal, that would mean Johnson has to swear in Adelita Grijalva, right? And then the Epstein files could be released before a final vote for the shutdown deal? Just wondering.

We watched “A House of Dynamite” last night and were talking about actor Jared Harris because we saw him at our hotel in Winnipeg a few weeks ago. In “AHOD,” he’s the secretary of defense and my husband says, “So this is Pete Hegseth in real life” and we laughed and laughed. I’d prefer Harris. 💣💣

True story: I somehow managed to lose my bowling ball — bag and everything. I think it rolled out of my car at a stop on my way to roller skating (because I found the hatch up). My husband is dubious — but look at what I just saw on a walk today. This is not mine but proof it maybe happened?
