Yeah, no. Literally anyone is capable of violence. Saying "none of us would ever do this" is not how humans work. Democrats *are* perfectly capable of violence and *have* done this. It's just as stupid for you to say this about us as it is when Republicans say the same shit.

But characterizing Charlie Kirk as if he were just a random, nameless youtube of no consequence or influence isn't much better. It shouldn't surprise you that USians are focused on his assassination.

Perhaps not for whatever department you worked for. But again, this is common and goes back several decades - been going on long enough that it's quite surprising for a former cop to say they never heard of it.
