I got that Gold Bond after I shaved my pits last summer so I could wear a tank top without freaking people out, and immediately regretted it. Instant relief for my pits.

Re: nipples specifically, lanolin ointment is very good for chafing--Lansinoh ointment saved my nipples when I was breastfeeding.

If you're shopping for balm, Gold Bond makes a Friction Defense product that comes in a push-up stick like deodorant; that might work well for nipples, too.

Whatever lip balm you have would work well as nipple balm.

I like using up leftover white meat in shepherd's pie, with sausage to zip it up a bit.

Some will be for sandwiches/salads for me (I'm the only one here who likes mayo, which helps if you're using up white meat).

We're using up ham tonight as well (grilled cheese with a big salad). Later, energy permitting, I hope to make more soup with the last of the turkey (first batch of soup is already gone). Not sure if the last of the drippings will go into soup or more gravy.

I use a light therapy lamp when days are shorter and darker. The day I started using it, my late husband walked by and said "you're humming." Which meant I was perking up a bit, I assume!

That's my daughter's favorite, too. So much chopping, but worth it.
