And I’ll fight to lower costs across the board so people don’t have to choose between paying for housing, electricity, healthcare, and putting food on the table. No child growing up in Ohio will ever be invisible to me.

To combat childhood hunger, I’ll start by implementing free breakfast and lunch in our schools. I’ll support our local food banks, work to raise the minimum wage, and invest in our local food systems.

I carry those scars, too. This is a reminder that their voices matter, their courage matters, and we must continue to demand accountability at every level.

As governor, I will always fight to keep costs down, because no one should have to choose between getting care and paying their bills.
