O my goodness. I have been referring to the Coopers Colors for 30 years!!! I’ve taught it to all of my officers thru the decades…it’s invaluable! To this day, when touching base with any of them, we sign off with “Stay in the yellow!” Thanks so much for this!

A quality pepper spray will incapacitate immediately (mace takes too long). A taser requires some distance between you & an attacker (you may not be that lucky). A stun gun is also very effective, but you must know how to use it! Seriously, a handheld air horn to the ear is very painful😉

Rude & gross is ok if it makes you safe. Women will often get into an elevator occupied by a man or men (even if they’re uncomfortable), because they don’t want to seem rude. It’s not rude. AND, why care what a stranger thinks??? Do what you need to do.
