These laws ⬇️ are necessary, costly, and *had* the federal teeth to force schools to follow the law. I worry so much about these families. Every PPT I’ve attended had discussion of these federal laws and federal legal paperwork.

In the NYTimes article, Stefany Shaheen came across as wish washy & detached from her mother’s choices. Like we’re supposed to believe her mother’s choices have nothing to do with the rest of her family’s values. “I can't speak for her. I think she did what she believes is right” is not cutting it.
