He never had picked up on the signs. That's why Kirishima was hanging out with him more, before the fight, that's why he stopped after the fight, that's why his smile always looked so sad when he looked at him. 'He had to have gotten over the feelings by now.'

Why did you wanna know anyway, Deku?" Izuku couldn't respond. He was too preoccupied as he watched that clip of the interview over again. Instead of Kirishima coming off as cold and intimidating, now knowing what that fight was, made it so obvious that it was heartbreak.

So they stopped talking because Eijiro said he was gonna ask you out anyway. But he backed down and they made up. She said she wasn't really supposed to share with you, but it's been this long that he had to have gotten over the feelings by now.

Apparently Katsuki said some really messed up things, how Eijiro wasn't in the same league as the two of you so why would he bother?, how much of a 'shitty friend' he'd be if he asked you out, stuff like that...

Kirishima never seemed like a type to hold a gruge, especially one years old with someone he considers his best friend. Though, this was big enough that he kept the gruge, at least a little, after Kacchan had dropped it. What happened?

When Kacchan and Kirishima started talking to each other again, everything went back to normal. So there was no reason to poke around with it. Now, however, something was nagging at him.

Kirishima and him had started training together more often, but also started talking and hanging out more normally. But after that fight, they went back to before. They talked less and didn't hang out or train together. He always attributed it to them just being busy.

He didn't feel it was his place to ask. With him and Kacchan having as tense of a relationship as they did at the time too, it didn't feel right to ask. Even if during that time Kirishima and him had gotten closer. As he thought back on that moment he paused.

He vaguely remembered Kirishima and Kacchan not talking to each other for a lot longer of a time than 'about a week'. He never knew what the argument was about, but he knew the fall out of it was bad. Some of the others in their circle knew, but he was never told.

He always had been, anything having to do with heroes he had an encyclopedic knowledge on it. This only got worse when his friends and fellow classmates had become pro heroes themselves. So when he saw that interview with Kirishima, he got a little concerned.

This was brought up to both heroes, during each of their solo interviews about their ranking on the hero charts. When asked if they ever fought, Dynamight only rolled his eyes and said Red wasn't worth fighting with. Red Riot's answer is what sparked the theories. "

People saw their 'arguments' during their interviews together, or footage from the field. Where Red Riot was only laughing, causing Dynamight to look like a pouty child. Because of this, people began to wonder if it was even possible for them to fight genuinely.
