well be careful about what and who you're saying being vulnerable is. on top of that everyone is being vulnerable to food so every FnB businesses have predatory businesses called "toppings" and not everyone needs them, but it suggests something. they also extract extra profits from that.

i just think "microtransactions" are not the evil you think it is when it's only tiers of the game. if it involves gacha/gambling and virtual currency then that's a whole another story

if it's a form of moderation and a way for artists to get paid, i don't see any problem.

furthermore these cosmetics don't matter because you can wear your own skins on a local multi-player server. these are enforced through public servers.
