Howdy yall! Thank you all for supporting and reading chapters 1 and 2 of Amelbury! Chapter 3 is coming! The intention is to release it in one big chunk so the update may be slower than previous. Till then, ill try to do some sketches and feel free to ask me about the characters/setting! #AMELBURY

Chapter 2, pg 55 and 56 #AMELBURY
p1 - a wide shot where we see that across from the steps Ann and Ormer are sitting on are three ibis eating from a trash can Ann: "So what's your next project?" p2 - closer look at the ibis p3- Ormer resting his head solemnly on his hand Ormer: "Just some lighting stuff." p4- another Ibis who is standing on the trash can. it lets out a KWOK p1 - Ann looking at Ormer who is off screen Ann: "Do you need help?" p2 - Ormer: "But, you know I can't pay." p3-4 - Ann beginning to stand up Ann: "Doesn't matter, filming with you was fun and saving that cat felt warm and fuzzy. So?"

Chapter 2, pg 53 and 54 #AMELBURY
p1 - flat shot of Ann and Ormer on the stairs Ann: "Rough." Ormer: "Yeah- Sorry." p2 - another angle of Ann looking over at her friend, her hands clasped together. Ann: "Why'd you decide on superheroes? Why not fantasy or something?" p3 - Ormer giving a look of confusion at the quesiton he was just asked. Ormer: "What?" p1 - Ann once again. Ann: "You said your parents worked on fantasy movies, so Why'd you choose superheroes?" p2-3 - Ormer is taken aback by her qestion before turning his head away. Ormer: "I- Because they're cool." p4 - a closeup of his face. Ormer: "And they can stop bad things happening to people."

Chapter 2, pg 51 and 52 #AMELBURY
p1 - Ann and Ormer continue to rest on the stairs. Ann looks pleased with an empty bowl next to her. Ormer: "You really ate that up quick." Ann: ahhh... "You're quite the cook, Ormer." Ormer: "Thanks." p2 - Ann looking over Ann: "You should consider a culinary career if the movie thing doesn't end up working out for you." p3-4 - Ormer: "That's what everyone says... My aunt and uncle own a restaurant so people assume I'm just gonna end up working there." p1-4 - Ormer slouching on the stairs while a series of images show the various images of figures behind the scenes on set of the last Kings of Yore movie. the shots are a silhouette of the director, another shot from a halfing village, and ifnally a massive sinkhole in the middle of a set Ormer: "But my parents, they worked in Aussiewood on those 'Kings of Yore' movies. While the last one was in production, they mysteriously vanished." p5 - Ormer looking down sadly Ormer: "I was too young to remember any of it. I guess movies help me feel closer to them in a way."

Chapter 2, pg 49 and 50 #AMELBURY

Chapter 2, pg 47 and 48 #AMELBURY
p1 - a wide shot of Ann sitting on some stairs to an apartment complex p2 - another angle, Ann glances behind her while Ormer heads down the stairs with a dok dok p3 - He's holding a bowl of piping hot pasta. He's holding with a napkin. Ormer: "I got pasta!" Ann: "So why do I have to eat outside?" Ormer: "'Mates have something going on tonight." p4 - a closeup of Ormer handing Ann the bowl of pasta. Ormer: "Careful, it's hot!" ow ow Ann: "Thank you!" p1-2 - Ann scoops up a bite of the pasta as Ormer explains to her what she's eating. Ormer: "It's fettuccine alfredo, using an old Uomo family recipe." Ann: mhmm Ormer: "My aunt and uncle own a restaurant and they let me take some leftover ingredients sometimes." p3 - a closeup of Ann bringing the pasta to her mouth. Why'd I expect a university student to have any money?" p2 - Pinching the bridge of her nose, Ann mutters under her breath "How was I so oblivious?" p3 - Ormer's guilty face watching. p4 - Leaping towards her with his hand outstretched, Ormer chases after Ann, who is walking away defeated. Ann: "Whatever... I'm just going home-" Ormer: "WAIT!" p5 - over the shoulder shot of Ann with a hand on her shoulder. Ormer: "Sorry..." p1-2 - we view both of them from below, there sky is visible above. Ormer: "I lied about being able to pay you, and that was really shitty." a shot of Ormer clasping his hands, Ormer: "But can I at least make you dinner? I'm not gonna say no to some cash." p3 - a distant shot showing Ann and Ormer facing one another. Birds are chirping to fill the silence. p4 - a shot of Ormer's concerned face while his heart beats loudly Ormer: "You don't have a job?" p1 - Ann bluntly responds Ann: "Yeah I quit my job today, actually. So I could really use that money you owe me now." p2-4 - three sequential shots of Ormer making various faces of guilt. p5 - a distraught, silent look on Ann's face.

Chapter 2, pg 41 and 42 #AMELBURY
p1 - both Ormer and the old woman celebrate as Ann slides down the tree with the cat held in her arm p2 - Ann, annoyed, plops the cat directly into a pleased old woman's arms. p3 - Ormer shows off his footage to his friend while the cat swipes ferociously in the woman's arms. she excitedly tells Ann, "Thank you so much for getting Everette out of the tree! So many young people don't stop to help anymore." p4 - "and look how happy he is to be saved!" Everette's face is stretched back as he swipes in panic from being pet a little too forefully. p1 - Ann looks down, dumbfounded at a couple pieces of paper in her hands. The woman waves as the two heroes leave. Ormer: "That was awesome! I got all the footage I need for class! You did great out there!" p2 - Ormer does a jump of excitedment, "And how did you even grab the cat like that?" p3 - "Those boots are so crazy!" The papers in Ann's hands turn out to be a couple 5 dollar bank notes. p4 - Ormer is now a bit further from his companion Ann: "I got $10" p5 - Ormer turns to look over his shoulder, "Huh?"

Chapter 2, pg 39 and 40 #AMELBURY
p1 - a long panel where Ann draws the cat in using her boot. there's a long DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN across it as the cat zips towards her p2 - a large panel showing Everette now attached to Ann's boot. He's frazzled from what happened p3 - A shot of Ormer and the old woman looking on. Ormer shouting, "She did it!" while the old woman is dumbstruck at what she just saw.

Chapter 2, pg 37 and 38 #AMELBURY
p1-2 - the cat, Everette, lands on Ann's head, before jumping off. The force was enough to throw Ann off balance. p3 - A shot of Ann wobbling on the branch. She's waving her arms wildly to regain balance. p4-5 - a view of one of her boots attaching to the branch she's on with a loud DUNNNNNN CLUNK. the next is of Ann's surprised eyes. p6 - a shot of Ann looking down. She thinks aloud, "Huh? Stuck..." p1- Everette, the cat, moseys down the tree branch. Ann is observing from afar. p2-4 - the cat sits down and starts licking his paws almost as if to taunt the human pursuing him. Ann's expression is annoyed. p5 - similar to panel 1, the panel shows Everette in the foreground grooming himself. Ann is sitting down with her foot held up, pointed at the cat.

Chapter 2, pg 35 and 36 #AMELBURY
p1- Ann with a determined look on her face, a speech bubble coming out of the panel saying "I need money." p2- a shot showing Ann running across the branch and then using her boots to leap up high. She's doing a confident fist in the air as she does so. p1- Ann landing on a higher branch of the tree. This time with more grace than her first jump p2- Ann stepping up after the cat whose been evading her this whole time. The cat continues to leap higher into the tree to avoid her. p3-4 - two panels showing the cat and Ann staring at one another.

Chapter 2, pg 33 and 34 #AMELBURY
panel 1-3 - Ann is now straddling the branch she's on with her back to the tree trunk itself. She first looks down, gives a big exhale, and then looks up. panel 4 - a shot from down below looking up at Ann. Ormer is shouting up at her, carrying his camera. Ormer: "Ann! You doin' alright up there?" panel 1 - Ormer gives a suspicious look, shading his eyes from the sun. Ormer: "Not afraid of heights, are you?" panel 2 - Ormer continues, this time without the suspicious look. The old woman is bewildered Ormer: "Totally okay if you are, I don't want to get any of my actors hurt!" Old Woman: "Actor??" Ormer: "So, it's totally okay if we need to call the fire department." panel 3 - the shot is not from above in the trees, Ann wobbles slightly as she starts getting to her feet. She stops him with, "No."

Her cat is above her while she responds to the comment Ann had made earlier, "Little Everette must've climbed up while I wasn't looking." panel 2-4 - Ormer begins by proudly announcing to the woman, "We can help you get your cat!" before then turning to Ann. After a pause, she sighs, knowing exactly what he meant. panel 5 - A shot of Ann squatting in front of the tree. A full splash page where Ann launches into the air using her boots. they let off a bass-filled BRMM. the cat is immediately startled by the giant woman hurdling towards them.

panel 1 - Later... a distant shot showing the silhouettes of Ann and Ormer walking out of the park. Ormer: "Where are all the people that need help?" Ann: "What kind of class needs superhero stuff, anyway?" Ormer: "That detail doesn't matter--" panel 2 - a closer shot of both of them. Ormer: "What does matter is finding something so you can look all heroic, and I can get cool footage." Ann: "Then I get paid." Ormer: "Of course!" panel 1-2 - Ormer explaining to Ann and then the next panel is both of them brought to attention. Ormer: "Since this is real life, we can't expect to just stumble into-" He's interrupted by a voice off screen, "HELP!" panel 3 - Ann and Ormer are running awkwardly towards the cry for help. panel 4 - They both make it to the source of the outcry. Ormer is winded, asking the old woman they come to, "W-what's wrong, ma'am?" panel 5 - a shot looking down on the three of them, with a cat above on a branch. the old woman is pointing upwards saying, "My cat's stuck in a tree." panel 6 - Ann is stone faced asking, "How." While Ormer is gasping in excitement. He's looking at Ann while whispering to himself, "A classic hero's dilemma!"

Ormer: "I'm Ormer, by the way!" Ann: "Ann Ngo." panel 4 - a wide shot of both the characters shaking hands. a speech bubble next to them reading "Nice to meet you!" panel 1 - Ormer is putting his index fingers together while looking to the side rambunctiously. "Um so... Could I record you? I need it for a project." he asks. panel 2-3 - the blank expression of Ann before a shot of her comically turning to walk away. Ormer shouts, "Wait!" after her panel 4-5 - same panel format as the last two panels, it's a shot of Ormer's face shouting, "I'll p-pay!" confidently and then a similar shot of Ann turning, but this time to face him.
