Definitely among my favorite places
It was my favorite trail because it was the one a close friend showed me before he passed away a few years back. 😅 It just happens to be in a state park. I go there when I need time away from things.

Downside is it's a state park so can't take any rock home. However the area is known for finding tourmaline and other neat rocks. Someone I used to be close to owned a waterfall and I used to sit under it looking for black tourmaline and so much more.

Turns out the main trail is still closed but they are working on it. Still got to see the smaller waterfall.
