She also lived in Mark Epstein’s apartment building in NYC, as many of Epstein’s “girlfriends” and associates did.
After the billionaire’s death, Pozhidaeva changed her lawyer.

Only found one event for WE Talks…a check presentation for $10k and that’s Lana handing the check photo is from 2018

Epstein’s lawyer Darren Indyke filed the paperwork to register the WE Talks trademark, and the address entered on the application form was the same as that of the Epstein Foundation.

Barak also received about $2.3 million from the US-based Wexner Foundation for research from 2004 to 2006, according to reports, when Epstein served on the board.

In 2015, Barak created the “Sum (E.B.)” company to invest in the tech startup Carbyne, and Epstein supplied most of the money for the shares.

Speaking of Epstein’s connections…that intro to Ehud Barak was major.
WSJ reported Barak met Epstein dozens of times at his homes in Florida and New York and flew on his jet.
November 14, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Epstein says he’ll arrange it. No one knows if any meetings actually happened.

Ehud Barak — former Israeli Defense Minister (through a separate intro)
Belyakov basically says: “Yeah, meeting all of them would be great,” and specifically singles out Hoffman (which is kind of ironic since Russia banned LinkedIn a year later).
November 14, 2025 at 2:24 PM
And Epstein comes back with a whole menu of high-profile people he claims he can connect Belyakov with:
Nathan Myhrvold — ex-Microsoft CTO
Reid Hoffman — co-founder of LinkedIn
Thomas Pritzker — billionaire, head of the Pritzker family, Hyatt, global biz including Iraq

As Chairman of the Board for the SPIEF Forum in summer 2015, Belyakov worked on the participant list for the 4th Open Innovations Forum.
Despite Crimea’s annexation and ongoing European sanctions, he wanted major foreign businessmen to attend. So, he again turned to Epstein.

Belyakov did help with her VISA.
But that wasn’t the end of their dealings. He also planned to arrange meetings for Epstein with Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak and Central Bank Deputy Chairman Alexei Simanovsky (or possibly Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev).

In August 2014, Belyakov was fired from his ministerial post after publicly criticizing the government for extending the freeze on the investment portion of state pensions. He then became head of the SPIEF Foundation.

For example, when in December 2014 the Russian Central Bank raised its benchmark rate to 17 per cent, Epstein wrote: “Bad advice to raise rates. it sends the wrong sign.”

Epstein believed that Russia could create new currencies pegged to oil or develop ‘smart contracts’ regulated by computers. In addition, Epstein shared his views on the Russian economy with Belyakov.

After one of their meetings in spring 2014, Belyakov wrote to Epstein that very few people “can open new horizons and prospects” the way Epstein could.
November 14, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Belyakov clearly valued Epstein, since he continued offering his support even after Russia annexed Crimea and became subject to international sanctions.
November 14, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Belyakov is a graduate of the FSB Academy which prepares Russian intelligence officers…

Belyakov also wrote a letter for her A-1 Visa process, at Epstein’s request

Epstein traded favors with Sergei Belyakov, then Deputy Minister of Economic Development and later head of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum Foundation, which runs the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
