Thats what it is right now, but people in the tech industry- actual scientists and engineers are starting to see what the next gen stuff might be able to do, even if it can't do those things we should be very wary of what they are *attempting* to do. It's like Google opening a wmd division

One day being like 2 years away is pretty much right now for people's careers. 2 ,5, 10 years- the people just getting into QA should very much be worried, Companies are actively telling you they are looking to replace people as soon as possible and the response is a smug "ha, good luck"

I do, but I don't think it will take as long as we think. Would the you of 5 years ago have even dreamed of what the llms and video creation models can do today? The ai being a better playtester than a human doesn't matter if it can be *close enough*, faster and cheaper.

I do think we have to start actually considering what the future will look like if this tech becomes "good enough" for consumer products. This is coming from someone that is staunchly opposed to ai, especially in the system of capitalism. But the tech is very clearly improving.

Obviously the solos sell well enough at the start and then drop off. So they keep restarting them while retaining the talent from the last one. If we lived in the late 80s or 90s this would be the equivalent of a comic series that runs for about 60 issues.
