I won the Mrs Wordsmith raffle, which was a large gift box or resources to support vocabulary and story writing through games and scaffolding. It's beautiful and will be winging its way to a lovely group of students next week.

Matt Goodfellow urged us to make space in our day for rebellious writing! With no rules, poetry offers children the freedom from rules that stifle their ability to see themselves as writers and allow themselves to be expressive and have fun.

Wilko Wilkes shared his work with us in helping all children, particularly young, disadvantaged boys that they are writers and RAP is one of the most liberating forms of poetry. His performance of the A-Z of Depression was fantastic.
