I just think this is an odd assumption to jump to without additional proof—the kickers in question are not visibly steroidal at all (they’re still shrimps relative to their teammates!), and there are other tech and equipment explanations for which we have evidence that are mentioned in other replies

I don’t think that keeping money away from insurance companies by making millions of people cancel their insurance is going to have the political effect they want, even if you take them at their word on motivation

The post I quoted is just a quote from the linked article, and there’s nothing in it that suggests the journalist doesn’t know what an FSA is

I’m a journalist who knows the difference between these things and I’m talking about the lawmakers

Not that HSA instead would make this all that much more functional but an FSA infusion means funds that expire at the end of the year *and* cannot be used for premiums

I question whether people who think it’s unrealistic have ever spent any time around rich people
