It's been an interesting yet fruitful day so far. I was surprised to see whiteflies infesting plants outdoors in Utah, but the weather has been odd this year.

A bit about me, I study plant arboviruses focusing on virus discovery and characterization of new and emerging viruses. I work at a PUI, so my research team is composed of undergrads. I teach a variety of undergraduate biology, horticulture, and microbiology courses.
