Parallels in the UK with Thatcher - so much of our travails started with her - privatisation, selling off council houses etc. Not that every thing was rosy before but once you sell off assets you can’t get them back and government lacks the levers to improve the real economy

Good article. But you can see the problem for the govt. Keeping Trump on the team on Ukraine has been a huge task of simpering bullshit but it’s been necessary. They know he’s inconsistent and favours Putin but they’ve got to try. The felon also has power over our economy. I don’t know the answers
