I don't want to offend anyone or devalue the work on those projects, but they are usually not more than better reskins, fully dependent on upstream Firefox. None of those have the resources to make any significant changes to their Firefox fork.

We made record profits last year 🤷

We have a hiring stop and in the same meeting got told to use AI more to improve our productivity since we have so much stuff to do 🤷

It's not about replacing people, it's about replacing work positions.

I feel betrayed :c

Like I understand a lot of people live paycheck to paycheck and I don’t really blame them for going cheap in that case.

But I know a lot of people that don't and they will still be outrageously cheap on some things. (Shoes,car tyers, clothing ect.)

Is there any reason for it?
