I finished my playthrough a couple weeks ago, and I was shocked at how few times I used Earth Wall--twice?--over the course of the game (on hard). Definitely a different experience than the original.

In 2021, Nimmo was faster than 92% of MLB players. He's now slower than 54% of the league. That is a massive difference that radically changes how you should project him going forward.

Sure, but even worse the entire roster is filled with guys you're hoping to slide to 1B or DH. He's a bad fit for this roster even if he were a better hitter than he is.

I was looking this over this past week, and I really felt the need to get rid of Nimmo. We might only be a year from Brandon Nimmo, Full-Time DH, which is a problem when you also have Juan Soto, Future DH and are possibly considering resigning Pete Alonso, Should Only DH.

There are a lot of birds I feel that way about.

While a WCSP would be slightly off course, a GCSP would be waaaay off course. Merlin ID'd them as white-crowned by sound, and we do get WCSP's at this location just about every year. A small handful really like this spot and keep coming back; this year they brought friends.

What a great shot, Glen!

It's actually their specialty. They almost never open their eyes all the way during the day; their eyes have only rods--no cones--and they are so sensitive to light that they're essentially blind in full daylight. So you end up receiving a lot of squinty looks.

Well, they're largely nocturnal, but they're not strictly nocturnal. Dunno where you live, but when the weather gets cool they'll be out more and more during daylight hours to take advantage of more pleasing temperatures. They prefer wooded areas, and you'll usually hear them rustling leaves first.
