I didn't ever finish it either, never even seen the Numidian. Creating spells and being able to fine tune just about every aspect was an eye-opener, no more 'of the shelf' magic.

Was an amazing game, paved the way for the others.
Huge storyline. The King of Worms scared the crap out of me.
Ahead of its time, the tech in '96 was definitely lacking though.
