We went down a dark path when we decided that Half Life was the template and shunned SiN, the true gamers game

The difference is that you can read that and understand it's complete gibberish whereas the doofuses with money genuinely believe that is beautiful prose and the future of art

As much as I would like to say Tidus from X (it's one of my favourite games tbf) Barret from the first FF7R is the one I think about most often, he fights for a better world because his daughter is his world and he wants to make sure she can live freely and I think that's beautiful

Like I'm not very hot on 2's story because I think it leaves it's most interesting ideas off to the side, which are then picked up by the best stories in the series imo but it's like that nuance was still baked in and they really don't make it subtle between CoM and 2

For a good while people were tying themselves into knots to explain the emotional actions of org 13 members despite 2 having characters state they had no emotions when even base 2 makes it pretty clear that they are just straight up wrong about that assumption

They made a sequel to Crazy Chocobo and the only way to hear it is by doing every side quest where it plays in one race during a final sidequest

I'd probably respect it if they were actually licensing out like the Champaloo ost but something about specifically crediting watanabe in this mode despite there being like 4 composers who worked on the anime really bothers me
