They employ a lot white middle class men in their twenties, a social group that rarely needs to consider the issues around child-care, good transport links, healthcare and schools.

This works both ways quite frankly. When we visited some relatives in Santa Cruz in the late 80's - my head could not fathom why they didn't lock the door at night.

An example of this was when Lewis Goodall went to the new Reform Party pub in Blackpool. He spoke with the manager, a big farage fan, who admitted that Brexit was a huge mistake and we should go back in.

Oh hang on is it Jeremy Warner - not a big deal- because he claims everything is close to collapse. I said for years that Italian Banks were going to go under any soon now - but nothing came of it.

Its going to take decades for Britain and British political centre to change its attitude to the European Union and how it sees itself within that.

Always a big fan Ken Clarke's missives -
"When I became health secretary, I took over from the most unpopular health secretary in history apparently. I quickly became the most unpopular health secretary in history which was then passed onto the person who took over from me".

I was at a function a few years ago where I am sure one of the waiting staff was Romanian because we were talking about their country and I loudly exclaimed "The only thing I know about it is Ceausescu!". Standing behind the bar, she did the *biggest* eye roll. Read more about her country after that

Was in Munich airport on Friday, while the EU citizens breezed through the electronic gates after landing - us Brits had to be interviewed and stamped. Its a slight humiliation every time. But all of us know, regardless what the Daily Mail and Express claims, why this happens.
