A slightly lumpy pumpkin, side one of a reversible crochet piece. Pattern by Beaver Meadow Crochet. Ah, that awkward phase: the pumpkin half inside out, with a black shape emerging. Black shape has white on the edges and a spot of green; is it an eldritch horror?? Pattern by Beaver Meadow Crochet. Tada! It’s Shadow the Frankenkitty! The reverse of the pumpkin, a cartoony black kitty with huge green eyes, four paws with white embroidered claws, and a little white nose. She’s fine. Pattern by Beaver Meadow Crochet. (But the crooked orange stitching being visible is all me, lol) A little crocheted cauldron I more or less improvised. Cauldron is grey with a rim; the “potion” is bright green bobble stitching.

I’m sorry; that’s so frustrating. Clio wants to yell about all of it, even after helping me yell about deciding to quit my current MA for combined lack of accommodations/insistence on legitimizing GenAI, so it’s a good weekend for howls.
Clio, a tabby cat (she’s mostly grey but looks a bit sepia here) has her mouth open mid-shout MEOW, revealing sharp teeth and a pink tongue. She is YELLING here!

Have about 24-36 hours to decide to go part time or drop out of a program my friends are describing as “full of bees.” Really wish I could just think about nothing but giving scritches instead

Nothing wrong with a tactical retreat! There are many days I would like to hid under the futon, too. Here is my kitty Calliope hiding from the cleaners.
A brown tabby cat is crawling under a floral-printed couch, on a brown carpet. Her head is completely hidden and her hind legs and tail are clearly primed to slither the rest of the way under. The couch is covered with piles of misc boxes and yarn; plz don't judge. It's a work-in-progress space and/or a cat enrichment climbing activity zone.
