Something in the vein of Vanquish would go hard as well. My first Platinum Games' experience and it deserved more.

I tried it but I'm really tired of the roguelite aspect of ever game feeling like it needs to be one.

scene.

I need more than a "pewpew its dead" nowadays. I want to do stupid shit like 300 Kicking an enemy off a cliff just because its starring out into the open space for zero fucking reason.

I want to "overkill" things where they've been dead for awhile already but Im still juggling their corpse like a DMC game. Throwing them with a grapple hook, dropkicking them into other enemies, ripping a grenade and shoving it down their throat and exploding while it blows me back like a John Wick

Doom The Dark Ages failed to give me the 2016/Eternal vibes, which was also not found in Borderlands 4. I need something like Bulletstorm (or the demo that I replayed over and over on PS3) where I can get creative with kills.

Arcadey shooters if that makes sense similar to Tony Hawk to skateboardin

The industry right now looks like that big fish eats small fish over and over but when theres no more fish in the sea to eat, you starve.

And at that point its too late. The lack of business ethics post covid where youre a failure if youre not making hand over fist year after year bubble is going to burst.

Growth will stagnate and they will start to crumble.

This isnt the only scary part.

New people wont be coming. Why get an education in programming and game development if you look at the industry right now? There is a potential severe lack of future generation of developers.

These companies will learn this, but only when it happens in real time.

Oh man I wish I could get a pair of Jolteons but I know my dog would go after them every time I took a step haha

I wish I could get a replacement Spider-Man 2 one. Easily my favourite Dual Sense I've owned.

I always compared it to liking vertical shmups vs horizontal shmups (in terms of Tetris vs Lumines). Personally I suck at both (much like shmups lmao) but I do like Lumines more in general.

At least the music comes out in February to jam out to, I loved the preview I heard on Bandcamp.

Here's hoping Mina comes out soon cause I was so close to drafting it lol.

This was my lineup lol. I think I fared pretty well. Super unlucky with basing the Kingdom Come after the first being disappointing due to bugs line of thinking lol.

If this was true they wouldnt be known for the ubisoft formula lol

I mean theyre only looking at their games... much of which burn the player out long before they can complete it lol

Apparently they worked on the epic mickey remake as well? Not sure what their team size is but that seems like a lot on their plate.

I liked the demo so Im ready for tomorrow

The Rock must need a paycheck.

100%. Thanks for the clarification!

What do you mean by "more interesting games"?

Kind of sounds like you have a sour taste in your mouth with Clair Obscur? Not insinuating anything, just genuinely curious.
November 17, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Fence sitting is as bad as admitting you don't mind generative AI lol.

What a fucking idiot.
