(2/2) to environmental disasters, and more. With these cuts, states that are already overburdened with their work load will have no option for federal assistance. Cleanups, monitoring, oversight… they won’t happen.

Source is within AFGE. This is a worst case scenario estimate of the amount of staff that may be eligible for RIF, not that 80% will get RIF’d. Sorry to cause alarm but we want to be open with the info we hear. Always encourage your own fact checking as well.
