Yesterday we went out and collected litter along the road by the house. Filled two bags to capacity, had to stop because that’s all the bags we had brought, but there’s still more out there, including stuff unreachable in a stream or up a sheer hillside we couldn’t climb.

Anyway. Stevie passed away at the beginning of October, and since I am less likely to become unmoored from time and space if I have a pet to take care of, we started looking at local shelters and rescues for a new cat to give a good home.

Mighty disappointed with the lack of communication from @wearezoop.bsky.social customer service. Backed a project two and a half years ago, forgot about it, didn’t see any emails about it until I got one saying it was shipping… to my old address I moved out of a year ago.

Beloved @projectmeow.bsky.social alumna Stevie passed away last Friday, October 3, at the age of 9, and after a little over three and a half years as part of her forever family. She is deeply loved and dearly missed.

Yesterday his brother let me know that he’d passed away on Saturday.

Apparently this year at Dragoncon there was a company that would do IV fluids/vitamins/electrolytes, either you’d go to them in one of the hotels or they’d come up to your room for an extra fee (here, have a bad screenshot of their menu on FB)
