You’re implying a conspiracy here. Occam’s Razor points towards Cass failing to consult with the relevant experts, and being rightfully criticised for it.

medical experts who work with trans people are pretty clear on this. Baroness Cass is a pediatrician with no specialty in trans care. She’s not actually an expert in this field at all, and the Cass Review has been universally rejected by bodies of medical experts who care for trans people.
