🥲 Still can’t currently recommend getting a Suunto smart watch.

Despite knowing about bugs for 3+ months that wipe watches with each update…

And turning off automatic updates doesn’t work…

I’ve had my watch wiped twice at this point. Just go Garmin / Coros.

They’re already getting braver 😐

But also… who wants to receive this? Why do companies feel the need to email slop multiple times a day the minute they get someone’s address?

I’d stay subscribed (to other corps) if it wasn’t such a flood.

Same 🙌 that’s how I ended up with this weird conglomeration github.com/alp1n3-dev/c...

🙃 Figuring this out (again) as I try to switch from iPhone to Android.

Drank the kool-aid a few yrs ago because I loved my MacBook. Enjoyed the ecosystem until Apple decided to essentially brick my iPhone 15 Plus with iOS 26 😭.

Now I need to de-tangle iCloud, iPhotos, Apple Music, etc...

YC will still fund 20 other AI startups that could be done (or ARE done) using their new agent flows & tools.

Having something already available never stopped any of that crowd in the past.

The boots and jeans are out but it’s having no effect… the weather still wants to stay in the high 70s 😢

Wanting it to be 🍁 fall 🍂 already so I’ve been attempting to break the boots & jeans out (in 88 degree weather 😭).

Forgot exactly how comfy+flexy the services ones were, and the Solovairs are new and AMAZING.

I get the hype, especially surrounding the air soles now 👌

A few of the things to keep in mind with any SaaS:

- How's my data stored?
- How do I get my existing data into it?
- Who has access to my data?
- How easy would it be to get my data off it and into another platform?

🗞️ Nancy Pelosi's primary challenger, a founding engineer at Stripe, may be even wealthier than her

➡️ Dead hangs
➡️ Ergo-keyboards
➡️ Ergo-mice / "still" mice
➡️ Standing desk
➡️ Breaks to walk
➡️ Sunlight (AKA touch grass lol)

Some of the best things that improve my daily activity, esp if working from home. It's too easy to say "one more thing", then it's 5:30pm. Also:

➡️ Working out pre/post work

No better way to prove you’ve recovered from surgery and are ready to hit the ground running at work again!

Just glad to finally be off the couch 😂.

Could be many things:

- Scope was too small / restricted.
- Access issues / delayed start.
- Test timeline might be around a week or under.
- Broken functionality in dev environment.

Or, ofc, as everyone is human:

- That specific company isn't the best.
- Employee had a rough week.

I guess insider trading in prediction markets is the new meta 🤷‍♂️

Laundering via NFT got too popular.

Everyone has different life paths and trying to enforce a "mold" for entry-level hiring feels weird.

Maybe I'm just sour bc I didn't do any internships though 😂, I mainly just worked standard jobs during my summers.

From a cashier, to helpdesk, to assisting with campus research projects.

This is about web3 SC auditing, but I think it can be applied to bug bounty as well.

The stability and benefits of a standard job with things like vacation, great coworkers, healthcare, etc. cannot be written off easily.

uh-oh 💀

I've began storing stuff in a secrets mngmnt container within my homelab, which is separate from where I do any dev (personal use).

.env never really felt "right", plus it's so easy now to handle keys, rotation, etc. with a little bit of boilerplate code.

Removing automated attack paths FTW.

Getting bullied by my watch about training post-surgery is definitely a vibe 😩

He says it's 5min of frustration, but tbh it's probably more like 5-15 hours minimum, especially the first couple of weeks.

I love Linux (specifically containerized dev envs), but daily driving it via baremetal is a feat 60%+ of devs are probably not ready for / want to waste their time on.
