Re mastering 15 for release on streaming platforms #reaper

The Korg MS20 has a reputation for being aggressive sounding but is often forgotten as a beautiful bass synth capable spacey 70's synthesizer tones. My track "The Snow Under the Horse" was three layers of the MS20 run through a reverb via a random arpeggiator. alonefold.bandcamp.com/track/snow-u...

I lost a few hours today confused as to why my Moog Grandmother was not outputting audio. Turns out I was using a balanced cable when it needed unbalanced. With other synths this is not an issue but it appears to be a strange quirk of the grandmother to allow headphone use on the audio jack.

Finally figured out how to trigger the main envelope for the ARP2600 via Eurorack: send your gate into the S/H gate input, ensure the switch above is in the down position, then, in the amplifier section set the VCF and ADSR sliders up fully.

New ‘haircut’

Absynth is the only software synthesizer I have managed to develop an emotional relationship with similar to a real instrument. I bought the DVD and spent years creating patches on it. I used it all over the album Remote Textures and more recently on Butterfly Eternal. It's discontinued now, rip.
